Prospective Workshop Leaders

The SERTS program recruits workshop leaders during the quarter prior to the quarter when the course for which they will be a workshop leader is taught. The recruitment for 2005-2006 facilitators will start in the summer of 2005 with the recruitment of workshop leaders for the fall courses (link to list of courses). We specifically look for the following qualities in applicants: solid understanding of subject material, ability to think critically and learn quickly, strong interest in teaching, a sincere desire to help others, and excellent interpersonal skills. In addition to these general characteristics, we look for people who are engaged in a research project and have an understanding of the history and significance of the project.
